So we finally got out of Cartagena. I am not going to miss it, the city is very nice with specially the old town but it is too hot and the hostel bugs got me more than 100 spots mark all over my body.
In our way to Medellin we initially ride as a group, I was leading the group until one the be bike got bored and pass me; at that point, I a faster group separated from the big group. We ride/arrived 7 hours faster than the other group. A significant difference.
The road to Medellin for the most part was flat with the exception of the end. 175 kms of very twisted road, on the highs, very spectacular ride.
As soon as I arrive to Medellin I went to RUTA 40 to do my service on my BMW. OMG ! what a GREAT group of people.
I got Oil and a tire and when I told them that I will be doing the oil change myself, the immediately offer me a station to work on my bike. I spend all day at the bench and I did not pay an cent ! I used their tools, expertise and space. I have to say that Ruta 40 the BMW is the best service shop I have been in ! Thank you Ruta 40, my bike and I really appreciated it.
Next day in Medellin was uneventful other than I got a massage!
I have not been feeling great, I am 80% and I get tired easy.
