Puquio at 4000 mts or 12000 fts over the sea level

I started to go into the mountains when I left Nasca. Well, from Nasca to Puquio is not more than 200 kms but construction, temperature, and altitude got to me.
Its one curve after another climbing up the mountain. From close to sea level to 3,000 m. in less than 2 hours.
I became sick from the altitude and was unable to continue. I stopped in the small town of Puquio. I had to rest again to climatize to the altitude. I was angry because for the past 4 days I've been sick. First with my stomach and now altitude. I was becoming frustrated and anxious about the slow progress to Argentina.
I was also frustrated because the hotel bathroom had now showers. So, I decided to take my frustration out by taking a very long showers...and the toilet did not flush either.

Cusco is taking many days! I am a little worry about time, but oh well.
