I turned around and I asked the kid...what is wrong ?
He was crying...he told me he was robed !
After a few questions from my part I offer to give him a ride to the city (10 kms away)
When I drop him off, I give him the amount he lost...around $20 us. Apparently her mother died and his father was shot and he is in the hospital.

My good actions paid off...when I arrive to the ruins the restaurant lady recommend my a supper cheap hostel $5 + a free drink !. They have only four guys in the hole place, and Italian, an American and German! It was nice, we all meet and we have dinner together...great group of people.
The next day, I left the north of Honduras and I rode to the Capital. (Tegucigalpa) where I spend the night with 2 girls I meet in couch surfing ! Nice help !
Thurs. Oct. 22, 2009. Honduras Day 2. When I exited Tegu I had the scariest experience with a vehicle. Right outside the capital there is a mountain with a road that has two lanes going up and one lane going down. It was early in the morning and drivers do not use their car lights. This makes it difficult to determine if they are coming or going. I was riding up the mountain and a car was driving towards me in my lane. There was little space to manouver. Later, there was a wash out on the road. A traffic control person signal for me to advance on a curve. However, a transport truck was coming towards me and there was limited space for both of us. I powered through and honestly believed my panniers would hit but they did not.
